Fleetworth Privacy Policy

Short version: Fleetworth does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. Everything happens locally in your browser.

What we collect

Nothing. Fleetworth does not collect or transmit any personal information, browsing history, or usage analytics. The developer has no servers and receives no data from your use of the extension. Fleetworth runs only on the Roberts Space Industries website (robertsspaceindustries.com), where it reads your own hangar and billing pages that you are already viewing. It makes no network requests to any other site and sends nothing to the developer or any third party.

What is stored on your device

Your Fleetworth settings, and a cached copy of your hangar totals (melt value, total spent, store credit, and the fleet counts), are stored only on your own computer using Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This cache lets the toolbar popup show your totals without re-reading every page. None of it ever leaves your device.

Permissions and why they are needed

Access to robertsspaceindustries.com: required so Fleetworth can read your hangar and billing pages and add the melt value and the real ship after an upgrade. This is a single site; Fleetworth does not run on, or have access to, any other website.
Storage: to save your settings and to cache your hangar totals on your own device, as described above.

Neither permission is used to read, collect, or send your data anywhere.

Third parties

Fleetworth does not share data with any third party, because it does not collect any. The optional "Donate" link opens an external page (Ko-fi) only if you click it; any payment there is handled by that service under its own privacy policy.

Children

Fleetworth is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
